AFCOT Proposes a partnership Deal

AFCOT Ltd., the Sanyo agents in Kenya, approach ARMCO with a proposal that both firms manufacture Sanyo radio sets in Kenya.

Formation Of A new Company

ICDC, AFCOT and ARMCO decide to form a new company – Sanyo Armco LTD. to start manufacture of transistorized Sanyo Radios in Kenya with 15 employees and producing 300 sets in a month.

Expansion

Sanyo Armco embarks on an expansion program with 35 employees. Production of radios goes up to 4000 sets a month.
